Cassandra Monique Batie, professionally referred to as Andra day is an American R&B artist and singer. She has won the Grammy Award and Children's and Family Emmy Award. Golden Globe Award and Academy Award nominations are also some of her awards. Andra Days is an impressive performer who writes stunningly. Not only is she an expert in throwback R&B, her musical origins are in gospel jazz and blues. Her debut album, Cheers to the Fall (2015) she broke in to the Top Ten R&B/hip hop charts and was awarded a couple of Grammy acknowledgements. In 2017, her contribution to Marshall's music was recognized by an Academy Award. Amen (2018) Amen (2018) Your Troubles (2020), and her Golden Globe-winning performance in Billie Holiday, in The United States against Billie Holiday(2021) continue to build expectations for her second album. The actress was born Cassandra Monique Batie in Edmonds Washington Andra Day, she grew up in San Diego and its metropolitan area where she performed in churches and attended the School of Creative and Performing Arts. Following her graduation from the school, she gravitated towards modern R&B and pop music, but found herself drawn to jazz classics and soul singers she was exposed to in her youth. Kai Millard Morris was able to see a live performance that Day gave and then brought Day's music home with the singer. Motown legendary Adrian Gurvitz connected Day and the veteran music businessman. Together with Gurvitz along with Jeffrey Evans' Buskin label Day developed a YouTube following and eventually signed with major-label Warner Bros. n 2012 Day made her debut track Forever Mine on YouTube. It was played quickly by radio DJs. Her debut album Cheers To The Fall (2015) was recorded by the singer Adrian Gurvitz. The album was released by Warner Bros. Records. The album featured the hit single Rise Up which became an anthem for social justice movements across the globe. Day received two Grammy nominations in the categories of Best R&B Album for her album. In 2019, she debuted her sophomore album The United States vs. Billie Holiday a concept album about the life of the famous jazz musician. She also starred in The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a film on Holiday. Andi Matichak is an American actress. She began her career in the television industry and appeared on shows such as Orange Is the New Black & Blue Bloods. After that, she made her movie debut by appearing in Halloween and its sequels in the role of Allyson. Andi is an American actor born in Framingham on the 3rd day of May 1994.
