Annie Mist Thorisdottir. CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she trains athletes. Annie is the sole female in history to have won at the CrossFit Games two times. Annie was second at the both the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is a weightlifter CrossFit as well as a popular media personality. She has gained fame for being the sole woman to ever win twice at CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. In addition, she is known for taking home the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was raised with her family in Reykjavik Iceland. At a very early age, Annie was a huge sports enthusiast and enjoyed doing exercises. Many medals were awarded to her at school events. Her first participation was time in 2009, in the CrossFit Games held in California in which she performed extremely well. Annie Thorisdottir has 31 years older (as in 2021). Her height is 5'7" and her weight is approximately the 67-kg mark. Annie started CrossFit training in California in 2009. In the initial games she performed very well and finished in the Top 10 out of 70. She did not manage to make it to the top of the tournament, and ended it with a ranking of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. In her second year of competition that she competed again in CrossFit Games. Due to her incredible performance she became the very first woman to be awarded CrossFit Games. Annie, who had outstanding performance in 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the very first woman to have won both CrossFit Games. A silver medal was won in 2014; and in 2021, she was awarded a Bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Annie works as a trainer and coach in Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her idea. Annie's growing popularity as an athlete has led her to become the spokesperson for many brands in sports, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration Sidekick Yerbae. Aside from that, she also has her own Youtube channel that has a couple of thousand followers where her workout diet videos, family and travel vlogs are shared.
