Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer who is best recognized for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Her stage career began in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Later, in 1956, she had her breakthrough with a performance on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. That same year, she released Her first album of music It's the Time for Tina. Louise was first seen as a performer in Hollywood in God's Little Acre a drama which was made in 1958. She was Griselda who was a character from the film. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's pupil. She signed on with CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work successfully in between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing somber characters contrasted to her perception of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary however she also made a mark as an accomplished television director on numerous series, including Supernatural & The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 29th August in 1965. The family relocated to Toronto around the age of three. Her childhood was spent there as well as her adolescence. She settled in Vancouver when she was chosen for the role of Samantha Carter.
